CEO of Negin Bandar Abbas Petro-refinery Visits Qeshm Oil Investment Company (QOIC) Facilities to Develop the Logistics Network
Bandar Abbas – Dr. Arsalan Abdpour, CEO of Negin Bandar Abbas Petro-refinery, visited the storage facilities and export terminals of Qeshm Oil Investment Company (QOIC) as part of efforts to complete the project’s value chain and strengthen its logistics infrastructure.
The visit was conducted to assess the existing capacities for operational synergy, facilitate the supply of both light and heavy crude feedstock, and establish support systems to ensure the continuity and stability of the supply chain.
During the visit, CEO reviewed QOIC’s storage infrastructure and its operational capacity for loading and unloading and emphasized the strategic importance of Qeshm Island’s geographical location in reducing operational costs and accelerating the provision of a stable feedstock supply.
On the sidelines of the meeting, CEO of Negin Bandar Abbas Petro-refinery stated that leveraging the capacities of aligned and complementary companies to complete the project’s infrastructure forms an integral part of the project’s strategic roadmap. He emphasized:
“Synergy with companies such as QOIC, in addition to enhancing operational security throughout the supply and export chain, represents an effective step toward reducing fuel imbalances and strengthening the petro-refinery’s resilience in the competitive energy market.”
At the conclusion of the visit, preliminary agreements were reached to establish a joint technical working group to examine potential areas of logistics cooperation and develop the infrastructure required to connect the respective networks.
